AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

Not generally a fan of nationwide service chains, but this one is in a class by itself. Jason came highly recommended and for good reason. Knowledgeable, professional and incredibly attentive. No annoying upsell pressure, just great service and follow up. My Isuzu Vehicross is a rare breed and not easy to get serviced. Jason and Aamco handled it easily. The place itself is surgically clean and well organized and a true pleasure to do business with.

I live out of state now and my automotive contacts are very outdated. Had transmission and one other problem visiting town and a friend recommended them. I consider myself distrustful of most places. But these guys have me a fair price and did a great job of fixing the problem quickly. Seemed very customer service oriented. They also had a like minded shop near by who was able to fix problem number two! Seems like a good business location who works hard and seems to care. Kinda hard to find these days. I am grateful and I am keeping their number. I don’t recommend a lot of people, but this time I do!

I was driving North on the 15 freeway and my car broke down. I was close to the Valley Pkwy exit so I pulled off and was able to get my vehicle to this shop. After a complimentary inspection, John and his team let me know that the vehicle was undriveable and would need to be taken elsewhere for a costly repair. I was stranded without a vehicle, far from home. John - the GM - was very fair and kind and allowed me to leave the vehicle, gather my thoughts and make a plan. He is a good person and an honest business man. I hope to never be in a similar situation but I recommend them 10/10 to anyone in need of service in the Escondido area. Kars 4 Kids is getting another vehicle donation due…

Great guys we have had several of our work vehicles repaired here over the years. John always takes care of us and has a good turn around. Great Value, Great Work, & Great Service doesn't get much better than that. Thanks!!

From start to finish - John was a great guy to work with. Told me exactly the time it would take to complete the job and advised on additional parts that were needed that did not come in the Clutch and Flywheel kit I brought in. Amazing guy to work with and very honest. Car is driving better than before!
